Changes made by Apple to iTunes have resulted in compatibility issues with the TechRTA Visual Plug-in. The latest version of iTunes (7.5) has eliminated many of the issues, however. To summarize: The TechRTA Visual Plug-in has full compatibility with iTunes before iTunes 7. The TechRTA Visual Plug-in will run on iTunes 7.5 (not other versions of iTunes 7), with the following limitations: 1. The preferences panel (Options...) of the TechRTA Visual Plug-in won't update properly when the tabs of the preferences panel are clicked. To see other options, first click the desired tab, activate the visualizer, then deactivate the visualizer. 2. The fullscreen display is interpolated from a smaller version, causing the text to appear jagged. The TechRTA Visual Plug-in won't be recognized in iTunes running on an Intel processor Mac. We haven't yet finalized plans to update the plug-in to address this or the above issues, but expect to do so soon. Note that the visualizer as originally released has been compatible with iTunes all the way back to 1.0 (including Mac OS 9).
